enrollment periods
here are the enrollment period dates:
annual enrollment period (AEP)
The Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) is from October 15th through December 7th. During this period you may sign up or switch your current plan.
SPECIAL ENROLLMENT PERIOD (SEP)
The Special Enrollment Period (SEP) is in September each year. and is a designated time outside the annual open enrollment period allowing individuals to sign up for health insurance or Medicare due to a qualifying life event.
OPEN ENROLLMENT PERIOD (OEP)
The Open Enrollment Period (OEP) is from January 1st through March 31st. During this period, you can sign up for, renew, or change Affordable Care Act (ACA) health insurance plans without penalty.
